Back-to-school
doesn’t have to mean
back to chaos.
Join this free 5-day challenge to start the school year feeling confident and ready to take action.
August 25 - 29

Perfect for parents who want more than pep talks
and are looking for strategies they can actually use.

This isn’t about run-of-the-mill
back-to-school stress.

Because you’re not worried about the first day,
you’re bracing for everything that comes after.

Everyone is buying fresh notebooks — but you’re bracing for another year of IEP meetings, confusing behavior, and decisions you don’t feel equipped to make.

The meltdowns. The emails. The calls from school.

You know your kid is smart, capable, and doing their best — which makes it all more frustrating.

This isn’t just “beginning of the year jitters.”

It’s the gut punch of realizing… nothing’s really changed since last year. And once again, it’ll all be landing on your shoulders.

There is another way to start the year. Let’s help you find it.

Your calm(er), clearer
school year starts here.

Join the free 5‑day challenge that gives you tools and confidence to kick off the school year strong.

In just five days, you’ll learn what to focus on, what questions to ask, and how to take your first meaningful steps. So when the school calls, you won’t be scrambling—you’ll already be on the right track.

You don’t need all the answers. You just need a smarter way to start.

Five days to stop spinning and start supporting your child in ways that work.

Each week is designed to keep things light, doable, and genuinely helpful—because no one needs “one more thing” this summer.

Daily prompts that help you reflect, not spiral.

Short written posts or videos guide you through one small but powerful shift each day — zero overwhelm, just real momentum.

Printable worksheets to help you plan and take action.

Each day comes with a focused & practical worksheet—so you can turn ideas into a clear plan that actually works.

Real parent stories that make you say: “Oh wow, same.”

Each day includes a story from another parent — something raw, relatable, and too familiar — that helps you feel seen and understood.

A community of parents taking action together.

Inside the Facebook group, you’ll connect with other parents, swap ideas, and cheer each other on as you all take steps forward.

 Live Coaching Q&A Call

Friday August 29th - 9am PST (12pm EST)

We’ll wrap up with a live group coaching call where I’ll coach as many parents as I can. It’s always full of aha moments and ideas you can use right away.

Can’t make it live? You’ll get the replay, and everything stays up for a week so you won’t miss a thing.

Real progress in just five days

By the end of the week, you’ll see your child’s school experience in a new light — and feel ready to take meaningful steps to support them with confidence.

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Think of it as a starter version of my 1:1 coaching—practical steps delivered in a group setting to get you moving forward.

What parents who’ve worked with me 1:1 have to say:

I felt like I was screwing up. I felt like I was failing. I felt like he was getting the least of me. And now that we’ve done this work, I feel like that’s flipped. And I’m like, no—I feel very capable and empowered.” —Jess B, North Carolina

“After working with Scotti, I began to see the situation in a new light, and I came away with practical steps to take.” —Rachel G, Massachusetts

“Her guidance made a real difference for our family.” —Erica W, Washington

Free
but packed with value.

There’s no shortage of free PDFs and webinars out there — the kind that sit in your inbox untouched.

But this one’s different — short, practical, and designed to make an impact right away.

The Smarter School Start Challenge uses the same reflection prompts, tools, and strategies I use with my 1:1 coaching clients — work that’s helped parents:

Feel more confident walking into school meetings
Understand what their child really needs (and how to advocate for it)
  Stop second-guessing every decision

Normally, my coaching clients pay for this level of support. But for five days, you get it completely free.
Starting the school year shouldn’t feel like guesswork.

That's why I’m sharing the same tools and strategies I use with my coaching clients, completely free for five days.

Hi, I’m Scotti—School Navigator-in-Chief

I’ve been exactly where you are. And I built Reframe Parenting to be the resource I wish I’d had.

I’ve spent over a decade parenting through school meetings, behavior charts, confusing emails, and that overwhelming sense that something isn’t working—but no one will say what.

That experience—plus years coaching other parents through the same mess—shaped my approach:

  Stop blaming the kid
  Start asking better questions
Build systems that actually support your family

I created the Smarter School Start Challenge to help parents like you start the year feeling prepared, empowered, and ready to partner with your kid’s school without losing your cool (or your precious free time).
Got questions? Let’s talk it out.
  • School’s already started for us — is it too late?
No way. If anything, now’s the perfect time. The back-to-school rush is fading, and the real patterns are starting to show.

This challenge helps you hit pause, get your bearings, and make one smart move — before things snowball. Better now than during the mid-October meltdown.
  • Is this only for parents of kids with IEPs or diagnoses?
Not at all. If school has ever felt harder than it should for your child — whether or not they have an IEP, 504 plan, or formal diagnosis — this challenge will help.
It’s about noticing what’s really happening at school, understanding your child’s needs, and figuring out how to support them this year.
  • I’m already overwhelmed. Will this just feel like more work?
Nope. The challenge is built to lighten your load, not add to it.

Each day gives you a simple reflection and a tool that helps you stop guessing and start making decisions that actually make life easier.
  • What if I’m slammed that week or can’t keep up?
No worries. The posts and worksheets are short and flexible — you can do them whenever you have a few minutes.

And if life gets in the way? You’ll still get the replay of the live coaching call, and all materials will stay up for a full week after the challenge so you can catch up on your own time.
  • Why is it free? Does that mean it’s not valuable?
Not at all. It’s free because I want more parents to have access to this work — and yes, some of you will decide to go deeper with 1:1 coaching or my upcoming summit.

But this challenge? It stands on its own. It’s practical, meaningful, and designed to make a real difference — even if this is the only step you take.
  • I’ve tried stuff like this before and nothing changed.
Totally fair. But this isn’t generic parenting advice. It’s focused on school — helping you understand what’s really happening for your child in that environment and giving you practical tools to figure out how to support them this year.

Let’s make this school year feel different.

Join the free 5-day Smarter School Start Challenge today.

It’s short. It’s practical. And it’ll help you feel more equipped to support your child — at school and at home — before the school year ramps up.
